| 38 RF CAL; good bore, good grips, 7 1/2'' barrel, COLT 1861 CIVILIAN MODEL RICHARDS MASON CONVERSION TO 38 RIMFIRE, ORIGINALLY MADE IN 1866 AND LATER CONVERTED IN THE 1870s. THE BLUING AND CASE COLORS ARE GONE. THE BORE IS SEMI BRIGHT WITH WORN BUT STILL GOOD RIFLING WITH LIGHT CORROSION PRESENT. THE ONE PIECE WALNUT GRIPS ARE SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS LIGHT DINGS AND SCRATCHES. THE TRIGGER GUARD AND STRAPS ARE POLISHED BRASS. THE ACTION IS SMOOTH AND FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. |
