| Similar to the Collins model 1005 as used during WW1. The blade is not marked and shows signs of heavy use, some pitting, sharpening, many nicks and dings on the edge and top of the blade. The wood handle has been wrapped in old reinforced tape and treated. The scabbard is marked on the front with the Collins crown/arm and hammer logo and is stamped "CO. D 311 ENGRS.". The scabbard has the original brass mounts, is intact except for the belt loop which is torn at the top edge, and shows wear., |
