| 7.62 X 54R; 70% blue, poor bore, fair stock, 20'' barrel, Russian Type 44 carbine as manufactured in China, the top of the chamber has the Chinese Arsenal 26 triangle mark over the date 1960. The bolt and floorplate are original matching. The stock is mis-matched. This rifle is in near relic condition, having surface rusting overall on the metal surfaces, some fairly heavy. The stock is dry and dirty with dings, scratches and small gouges. The rifle is complete other than the missing cleaning rod. The bore is dark with no visible rifling. Found in the jungle in Vietnam, brought back and left in as found condition. No capture papers. SOLD AS IS for display purposes or restoration. C&R/FFL, s/n G95xx |
