| 6.5x55mm; excellent bore, excellent stock, 18'' barrel, All matching numbers. The top of the chamber is marked, crown / C / CARL GUSTAFS STADS / GEVARSFAKTORI. / 1904. The left side of the receiver is marked with an inspector’s stamp H.R. and with the serial number. The front sight is dovetailed set bladed post, the rear sight is a sliding “U” notched escalator marked, 4-16. Finish is polished bright. Hardwood stock has a straight grip, finger grooves with metal nose cap. The buttplate has small area of rust. The stock disc is missing. Nice leather sling. Very nice 100+ year old rifle., s/n 288xx |
