| 8x58Rd; 80% blue, good bore, very good stock, 32'' barrel, Mfg.1874 The round barrel finish has minor spotting and the sling mounting tang is missing. The front sight is a ramped beaded blade, and the rear is a fixed V notch with a flip up V notch .The left side of the barrel has the serial number. The top of the barrel has the Crown / C and the right side has the conversion number and date 1844/92. The receiver has faint case color showing . The right side has the Crown / C proof and the date 1874 The left side has the serial number. The breech block is not original to the rifle. The barrel - the stock - receiver hammer - butt plate are numbers matching to the rifle. The stock has lost most of it's finish, but has few handling marks. The right side of the butt stock has a shooting meet tag. The butt plate has mild patina on the roll over., s/n 125xx |
