| poor bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, Used aboard ship for firing a bomb lance or harpoon, circa 1850s. All iron construction with skeleton type stock. Unmarked as most are. Bead front and dovetailed rear sights. Slightly different with a mostly round barrel, octagonal cuts for about .75 inch at the breech end. Access plate on the left side for the lockwork is missing along with the hammer. Ramrod is a replacement. No metal finish remains with surface rust and pitting over all. SOLD AS IS missing parts.
