| 22 LR; 98% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, This is an excellent example of a rare standard WWII training rifle as manufactured by the Berlin-Suhler Waffen (BSW) Werkes factory with the large "SA" property mark on the right side of the stock. This rifle is one of the various models of single shot, bolt rifles chambered in 22LR that was produced before and during WWII, that were used as standard marksmanship training rifles. The top of the receiver is marked "MOD W, 625B/BSW/Suhl". The top rear section of the barrel is marked "FLUSS-STAHL-KRUPP-ESSEN" with the left side marked "Kal 22 Long Rifle". - 151530 It is equipped with a standard tangent rear sight and the inverted "V" front sight. It has a one piece walnut stock and handguard, with finger grooves on the sides. The right side of the walnut stock has property mark script "SA" symbol in the center with the outer ring marked "GRUPPEN/KURPFALZ". The cleaning rod is missing., s/n 1515xx |
