| 12 Gauge; fair bore, good stock, 28 7/8'' barrel, C.late 1880's. 12 bore single barrel with screw underlever barrel break. Fine Damascene browned barrel finish. 2 5/8" chamber, choke gauges Cylinder. Casehardened frame and backlock action. English scroll engraving is a bit weak and the metal has aged to light gray. Checkered walnut straight grip stock with steel buttplate. Unmarked silver oval disc on the butt. Wood has worn checkering with handling marks and natural blemish on the left side of the butt. Forend has old chips of wood missing at the upper rear corners on both sides. Frosted bore with some light pitting. Action functions fine and the barrel locks up well. Black powder proofed.
