| 6.5X55mm; 92% blue, fair bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, SWEDISH M96 INFANTRY RIFLE MADE AT CARL GUSTAF IN 1916 IN FAIR/GOOD CONDITION WITH MATCHING NUMBERS BUT MISSING ITS SIGHTS. THE BLUING SHOWS LIGHT DULLING OVERALL. THE FAIR BORE IS SEMI BRIGHT WITH WELL WORN RIFLING AND LIGHT OXIDATION PRESENT. THE RECEIVER WAS DRILLED AND TAPPED FOR A DIOTER REAR SIGHT WHICH HAS BEEN REMOVED ALSO THE FRONT SIGHT INSERT IS MISSING AND THE LADDER REAR SIGHT HAS ALSO BEEN REMOVED. THE WALNUT STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS LIGHT DINGS, HEAVIEST ON THE LEFT SIDE. THE HANDGUARD SHOWS LIGHT HANDLING MARKS. THE STOCK DISC AND CLEANING ROD ARE MISSING. IMPORT MARKED. |
