| 12 Gauge; poor bore, fair stock, 29.75'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium c.1880's. Browned Damascus steel barrels with 2 9/16 inch chambers. Barrel cut to length with both chokes gauging Improved Cylinder. Concave smooth barrel rib with a brass bead sight. Backlock actions. Walnut stock. Underlever barrel break. Actions function and lockup is good. Bores are dark and rusted. Wood is worn, with chips and slivers of wood missing on the wedged forend. The buttstock has nail and screw repairs on ech side behind the frame, as well as chips and grain splits on the sides. Left hammer has been filed on and the screw is a replacement. Buttstock is a bit loose. Upper swivel base is loose and the swivel is held with a bent nail. Antique, not for use with modern ammunition., s/n 138xx |
