| 16 Gauge; fair bore, fair stock, 29.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium circa early 1900s. Blued laminated steel barrels, casehardened frame and lockplates, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 9/16 inch chambers with both chokes gauging about Cylinder, the barrels have been shortened to length. Single brass bead front sight. Frame with crossbolt. The metal is worn with dark spotting. The wood is worn with small chips on some of the edges. Mechanically fine, both hammer screws are replacements and the barrels have some up/down play in lockup. The bores are frosted with some visible pitting. C&R/FFL, s/n 31xx |
