| 16 Ga; fair bore, good stock, 28.25'' barrel, This shotgun has no maker markings, with standard Belgian Liege proofs on the barrels and frame. The frame, barrels and forearm have matching serial and assembly numbers. 2 9/16 inch chambers with both barrels gauging Cylinder chokes. Features a boxlock action, Greener style crossbolt, extractors, double triggers, latch release forearm and a rounded grip stock with cheekrest. The metal finish on the steel barrels has turned a gray-brown patina overall with some spotting. The casehardened frame shows faded case color with some minor spotting. Checkered walnut wood shows wear with minor dings and scuffs. The stock has a 1.25 inch extension added, length of pull is 15 inches with a serrated steel buttplate. There is a small chip missing on top of the left side flat exposing the hammer. The action works fine. The barrel lockup is loose with both up/down and side to side play., s/n 9xx |
