| 8x57mm; fair bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, Marked on top of the receiver ring with the Turkish star and crescent moon, and "T C / AS.FA / ANKARA / 1933". The receiver, bolt, and rear sight are all matching numbers. CAI import marked at the end of the barrel. The magazine cuttoff extension assembly removed as was common during refurbishment. Original blued finish has worn and aged to grey patina overall. Walnut stock shows age with dings and scuffs. No legible markings on the wood. Buttplate has pitting. Cleaning rod present however will not seat. The bore shows worn rifling and is dark in the grooves., s/n 1F64xx |
