| Säbel James Mortimer Warwick London antiker Säbel Degen James Mortimer Warwick, London, Schwert? antiker Säbel / Degen James Mortimer Warwick, London Auf der einen Seite steht oben am Schaft: James Mortimer, Warwick St, Regent St, London und auf der anderen Seite ist eine vergoldete Prüfmarke in Davidstern zu erkennen (siehe Fotos). Hersteller: James Mortimer, Warwick St. und Regent St. London Der Säbel / Degen (ohne Scheide!) ist im Fundzustand mit altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren, ungereinigt und mit Flugrost, beim Griff fehlt die Fischhaut (siehe Fotos), der Handschutz mit einem floral schön durchbrochenem Gefäß mit einem Königlichen Wappen und vermutlich einem Monogramm (siehe Fotos), die Klinge hat auf beiden Seiten feine Verzierungen (siehe Fotos). Es handelt sich hierbei vermutlich eher um einen Säbel, da es auf einer Seite eine scharfe Klinge mit diversen "Hicken" hat (Klinge ist natürlich nicht mehr scharf! Länge ca. 97.5 cm Folgende Informationen hat mir ein Ricardo Mitglied geschrieben: Das ist jetzt ein britischer Infanterie-Offiziersdegen Mod.1897. Das Emblem auf dem Gefäss ist ER VII, d.h. König Edward VII, Sohn Königin Victorias und Thronfolger ab 1901. Warwick ist der Hersteller. Zustand schlecht; die Griffwicklung ist weg. Aber interessant. Diese Waffen wurden im ganzen Empire und bis in den 1.Weltkrieg hinein getragen und haben viel erlebt. Bitte beachten Sie auch meine anderen Auktionen um Porto zu sparen!!! |
