| Kavallerie Extra-Säbel, Hessen Dieser Säbel wurde um ca. 1900 hergestellt. Hersteller ist Weyersberg und Kirschbaum Cie. Der ganze Säbel wurde vernickelt, diese löst sich an diversen Stellen. Die Klinge ist fleckig, aber die Ätzung ist noch schön zu sehen. Auf Foto 3 ist das hessische Wappen zu sehen. Das Gefäss ist in gutem Zustand, mit kompletter Griffwicklung und Fingerschlaufe. Solche Säbel wurden in Hessen von Dragonern getragen. Die hessische 25. Division war ein Grossverband in der preussischen Armee, darin waren die Dragoner in 2 Regimentern eingeteilt (Garde-Dragoner-Regiment (1. Großherzoglich Hessisches) Nr. 23, Leib-Dragoner-Regiment (2. Großherzoglich Hessisches) Nr. 24). Ein seltenes Stück in gutem Zustand. |
