Dieses Modell hat einen robusten Polymer-Kunststoffschaft mit angenehmer Soft-Touch Oberfläche und besitzt ein schlichtes, modernes Design. Die Besonderheit der 457er Reihe ist unter Anderem der Zylinderverschluss, der mit 60° einen erheblich kleineren Öffnungswinkel besitzt als andere Modelle mit ca. 90°. Das ermöglicht die die Montage von beispeilsweise größeren Optiken auf der vorhandenen 11mm Prismen Schiene. Auch am Schlagbolzen wurde fleißig optimiert und ist nun ca. 62% leichter. Für noch mehr Sicherheit sorgt die Schiebesicherung, die einen Signalstift am Schlösschen hervorbringt und somit deutlich auf den Spannzustand hinweist. Das Modell besitzt einen freischwingenden, kaltgehämmerten Lauf für gesteigerte Präzision und der Abzug lässt sich individuell, mit einem Spielraum von 800g, einstellen.
