| Bonjour, Je propose à la vente ce Smith & Wesson .38 Double Action 4th Model, chambré pour la cartouche .38 S&W et doté d’un barillet à cinq coups. Portant le numéro de série 367212, authentique arme du XIX? siècle. La mécanique est en très bon état de fonctionnement, aussi bien en simple qu’en double action. L’indexation est parfaite sur l’ensemble des chambres et le barillet ne présente aucun jeu perceptible une fois le chien abattu. Le canon est propre, avec des rayures encore bien marquées et seulement quelques traces superficielles. Les chambres du barillet sont également propres. Le revolver conserve son bronzage d’origine, naturellement atténué par endroits et désormais accompagné d’une très belle patine ancienne, homogène et pleine de caractère. Les marquages Smith & Wesson ainsi que les différentes dates de brevets présentes sur la bande supérieure du canon demeurent visibles. Il est équipé de plaquettes neuves de remplacement, quadrillées et ornées du monogramme S&W. L’arme est accompagnée de son procès-verbal d’expertise établi par le Banc National d’Épreuve de Saint-Étienne, confirmant son identification et son classement en catégorie D(e).
