| Toutes parties métalliques noir bleuté après rebronzage ancien dans les règles sur de légères traces d'oxydation très localisées. Superbe marquage sur le coté gauche de la carcasse : ' PAT.SEPT.19.1871 ' et sur la seconde ligne ' JULY .2.72 - JAN.19.1875 ' suivi de ' US ' qui est le poinçon de réception militaire. Poinçon d'inspection militaire R.A.C. (pour Rinaldo A. Carr) sous la carcasse au-dessus du numéro de série. Le matricule de la carcasse est différent de celui du pontet et de la bride de carcasse. Excellent fonctionnent serré, ce qui est rare sur ce type d'arme. Canon de 5 pouces 1/2 (14 cm) avec intérieur propre avec de superbes rayures très nettes. Il est issu de l' ' artillerie model ' qui a été raccourci entre 1895 et 1903. Pas de marquage particulier. Percuteur conique, axe de barillet retenu par une vis à 45 degrés, avant du barillet chanfreiné et extracteur avec tête plate concave. Plaquettes en ébonite quadrillées, avec le célèbre poulain de la marque, dans un ovale. Ensemble en bon état pour une arme de cette époque qui a servi dans l'armée. Longueur totale : 27,5 cm, Longueur du canon : 13,8 cm, Marquages : NĀ° 139442 sur la carcasse et 34317 sur le pontet. Bon état de conservation pour cet exemplaire fabriqué en 1891 |
