I never fell in love with the Techno 2, but this original Techno 1 blew me away! What a cool knife and razor sharp with its full flat grind! It is a bit heavier, has thicker blade stock (4.5 mm!!!) and just feels incredible in your hand! If you encounter a weak lock-up where the frame-lock bar barely covers 10% of the blade tang, you might improve that by adjusting the pivot screws and re-centering the blade.
