Nun hat John Kubasek das Thema Back-Up Taschenmesser noch kompakter umgesetzt und uns das 24 Gramm leichte Dog Tag Knife vorgestellt, das wie sein Namensgeber an einer Kugelkette um den Hals getragen werden kann und in geschlossenem Zustand mit einer Dicke von unter 4 mm aufwartet (gemessen ohne Klingenachse). Für maximale Sicherheit beim Tragen und beim Nutzen trägt der Chisel Grind (einseitiger Schliff der Klinge) bei, der mit seiner flachen Rückseite die Schneide engstmöglich an der Titanplatine anliegen lässt. Zudem sichert ein cleverer Magnetmechanismus das Neck Knife sowohl in geschlossenem wie auch in geöffnetem Zustand, wobei es sich jeweils nicht um reine Magnetkraft, sondern um eine echte Verriegelung handelt. So ist ein versehentliches Öffnen auch bei sportlich-dynamischer Aktivität ausgeschlossen. Die Rückseite der Titanplatine eignet sich perfekt für eine Laserung des Namens, Spitznamens, medizinischer Daten etc. Die Lieferung erfolgt mit Kugelkette und Karabinerhaken.
