| Degen, 19. Jh. Beamten oder Freimaurer. 80cm lange, vernickelte Klinge mit sechskantigem Querschnitt, die obere Hälfte ist mit einer Ätzgravur versehen: Ranken und Trophäen. Die Herstellerbezeichnung wurde entfernt. Ehemals versilbertes Gefäss, mit eingegossenem Rankenwerk, Beingriffschalen. Schwarze Lederscheide mit versilberten Garnituren. Anm.: Solche Degen werden auch heute noch im Appenzellerland zur Landsgemeinde (Volksabstimmung) getragen. |
