Brünierter Rundlauf, der hintere Viertel oktagonal. Quadrantvisier, Blockkorn seitlich eingeschlauft, deutscher Stecher. Zündstift kann im Verschluss um 180 Grad gedreht werden, somit für Rand- wie auch Zentralfeuerpatronen geeignet. Nussholzschäftung ähnlich wie beim Feldstutzer 1851.
