The carbine 1911 (abbreviated Mq. 11 or K 11) is a military weapon used by the Swiss army and which uses the principle of operation of the breech with rectilinear movement (Schmidt system) of the Schmidt-Rubin Model 1889 rifle. Produced in 1913, the last copies were assembled at the end of 1936. The carbine K11 as the Swiss infantry rifle 1911 are weapons of the system of 1911, they were replaced by the K31. |
