| The Rhino Rescue CM-Chitosan Hemostatic Granules are a high-performance hemostatic agent based on Carboxymethyl Chitosan (CM-Chitosan), a marine-derived chitosan compound. Designed to rapidly and reliably control severe bleeding from mechanical injuries, accidents, or deep trauma, the granules flow directly into superficial or deep wounds on the head, face, limbs, or torso, accelerating clot formation within minutes. FDA approved and ISO 13485 certified, they clot up to 10 times faster than standard gauze and are compatible with both ordinary and heparinized blood. Mechanism of Action CM-Chitosan granules adhere to and seal the bleeding site immediately upon application, facilitating removal without reopening the wound.
