The Aimpoint Duty RDS MR is a compact, rugged red dot sight built for professional users, law-enforcement applications, and anyone requiring a dependable optic for intensive use. Its new Multi Reticle (MR) system combines speed and precision in one optic.

This configuration, item number 200985, includes a fixed one-piece torsion-nut mount for Picatinny rails. The optical axis is positioned 39 mm above the rail, making it well suited to AR-style platforms and tactical rifles.

The Duty RDS MR offers three selectable reticle modes: a 2 MOA red dot, a 65 MOA circle, or a combined dot-and-circle reticle. This flexibility adapts the optic to the task: the circle promotes rapid close-range acquisition, while the 2 MOA dot supports finer aiming at distance.

Push-button controls make adjustments straightforward and intuitive. Windage and elevation turrets provide tactile, audible clicks for precise zeroing, while their flush-mounted design helps prevent unintentional changes in the field.

The Instant-On Motion Activation system places the sight into sleep mode after inactivity to conserve power. When motion is detected, the reticle reactivates instantly so the optic is immediately ready for use.

The Duty RDS MR provides 12 brightness settings: four levels compatible with night vision devices and eight daylight levels. It is compatible with night vision equipment and remains usable across a wide range of lighting conditions.

Powered by one 3 V CR2032 lithium battery, the Duty RDS MR offers up to 30,000 hours, or approximately three years, of continuous operation at daylight setting 7 with the dot reticle. Its side-loading battery compartment supports convenient battery replacement.

The pressure-forged high-strength aluminum housing with a non-glare anodized finish protects the optical and electronic components. Recessed lenses and flip-up lens covers provide additional protection against impact and debris.
