This carbine features a bolt and magazine matching serial number, adding to its authenticity and value. The K11 carbine uses the principle of operation of the breech with rectilinear movement (Schmidt system) of the Schmidt-Rubin Model 1889 rifle, and was used by the Swiss army. Produced in 1913, the last copies were assembled at the end of 1936. The carbine K11, like the Swiss infantry rifle 1911, are weapons of the system of 1911, and were eventually replaced by the K31.
