Das EoTech 552 ist der Klassiker unter den EoTech Modellen und nach wie vor das im militärischen Bereich meistverwendete Modell. Es wird mit zwei AA Batterien betrieben und hat eine Betriebsdauer von bis zu 1000 Stunden. Es ist mit einem nachtsichtkompatiblen, holographischen A65/1 Absehen ausgestattet (65 MOA Ring, 1 MOA Punkt) und eignet sich für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen (militärische Anwendungen, Law Enforcement, Sportschützen, Jäger). Durch Drücken der NV-Taste schaltet das Gerät automatisch auf Nachtsicht-Modus. Das Absehen ist dann nur noch über ein Nachtsichtgerät (1. bis 3. Generation) erkennbar. Innerhalb des NV-Modus bestehen 10 Helligkeitsstufen, das Ziel wird nicht überstrahlt, wie es bei einem gewöhnlichen Reflex-Visier der Fall wäre.
