Trotz Fertigung aus Aluminium und deutlich besserer Stabilität wiegt das Sniper-Chassis von Hubertec nur 500g mehr als der Holzschaft des Karabiner 31. Gegenüber anderen Sniper-Chassis-Systemen bietet das neue System den Vorteil, dass der dünne Lauf nicht komplett freischwingend ist, sondern durch eine Laufführung im Karbonrohr gestützt und geführt wird. So wird auch die bekannte Verschiebung der Trefferpunktlage bei Erwärmung vermieden, da sich das Prepreg-Karbonrohr bei Hitze nicht verzieht.
