| PotzBlitz Guns Zündnadel Doppelflinte System Pauly Fertigungsort: unbekannt Produktionsjahr: erste Hälfte 19. Jhr. Typ: Zündnadel Hinterlader Verschluss: Funktionsfähig, jedoch hält das linke Schloss nicht zuverlässig und das rechte kann nur durch Abschlagen entspannt werden, da sonst die Schlagfeder aushakt, die Nadelhalter und Zündnadeln sind intakt, siehe Bilder Systemhülse: ohne Markierungen, ich konnte keine Herstellerbezeichnungen oder ähnliches finden Kal.: .28 Schrot Schaft: In sehr gutem Zustand mit Wildschweinkopf verziert, siehe Bilder Laufinneres: in sehr gutem Zustand Bis jetzt habe ich in der Literatur nur von einer Zündnadelvariante gelesen, jedoch nie selbst eine in Händen gehalten. So gab es nach meinem jetzigen Wissensstand vier verschiedene Pauly-Gewehrtypen: Bei einem erfolgte die Zündung der Zündpille mittels hochverdichteter und sich dadurch erhitzender Luft. Bei einem weiteren Typ durch Perkussionszündung auf einen Stift der, ähnlich LeFaucheux aber von unten, im Patronenboden steckte bzw. auch in der Variation, dass dieser eingeschraubt wurde. Schließlich noch eine Weiterentwicklung zu einer Schlagbolzenzündung mit „Ausschwenkern“ der abgefeuerten Hülsenböden. Außerdem als vierte und hier präsente Variante die Zündnadelzündung. Diese wurde auch von Dreyse in Sömmerda an einem Paulygewehr entwickelt (vgl. dazu auch Wirtgen S.61). Das Problem bei allen Pauly Hinterladern war jedoch stets die Gasdichtigkeit, die in keinem Fall zuverlässig erreicht werden konnte.
