| Wikinger-Schwert, basierend auf einem Originalschwert aus dem 9. bis 10. Jahrhundert. Das Original ist Teil eines Fundes aus Vestre Berg in der Gemeinde L?iten im Bezirk Akershus in Norwegen. Zusammen mit diesem Schwert wurden auch Pfeilspitzen, ein Kastenverschluss, ein zweites Schwert (sehr kurz), ein Beil und andere Eisenobjekte gefunden ? alle recht gut erhalten. Dieses Schwert entspricht dem Typ ?O? nach Petersens Klassifizierung. Der Knauf, die obere Parierstange und die Parierstange sind mit feinen, aufeinander abgestimmten Gravurmuster verziert. Alle diese Elemente werden in unserer Gie?erei aus Messing gegossen und anschlie?end je nach Bestellung poliert oder patiniert. Der Griff besteht aus Hartholz und ist mit Naturleder umwickelt und handgen?ht. Das Schwert hat eine vollst?ndig kampfbereite geschmiedete Klinge ohne scharfe Kanten. Eine breite Hohlkehle erm?glicht es, das Gewicht so gering wie m?glich zu halten, w?hrend das Schwert dennoch sehr gut ausbalanciert ist. Die Scheide hat einen Holzkern und ist mit Filz ausgekleidet au?erdem mit Leder ?berzogen und mit Beschl?gen verziert. Eine richtig tolle Einzelanfertigung mit polierter Schaukampfklinge.
