| Superb late 18th-century Solingen saber blade, originally blued on the first quarter, with gilt incisions on the first third and stars and moon engraved on the spine. Single-edged and with a 14-centimeter counteredge. The tang bears the gunsmith's mark in an oval, illegible with three stars (STAM?). The tang is also marked with the Roman numeral XVII. Total length: 70 cm Blade length: 56.5 cm Tang: 13.5 cm Please look carefully at the photos; they are part of the description. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
