| Paul Wilhelm Dahms (1913 Jüterborg - 1988 Dillingen) „einfliegende Brachvögel“ Paul Wilhelm Dahms war ein bekannter deutscher Jagd- und Tiermaler, Meisterschüler von F. Frost. Prof. Rothe und Prof. G. Löbenberg . Er widmete sich in seinen Darstellungen der heimischen Tierwelt, besonders den Vögeln mit all ihren Flugkünsten, sowie der Jagd im Allgemeinen, prägten sein künstlerisches Schaffen. Dahms widmete sich auch der Pastell- und Kohlemalerei. „Erlebtes in der freien Natur“ im Bild festzuhalten, zeigt er dem Betrachter dieses Bildes mit der Darstellung einfliegender Brachvögel in ihre Brutgebiete. Das Gemälde ist einem altersbedingten sehr guten Zustand, das Passepartout hat im oberen Bereich einen kleinen kreisrunden Fleck, der Rahmen ist hängefertig. Original Kohlezeichnung, gerahmt mit Passepartout und hinter einem bruchsicheren und entspiegelten Museumsglas. Zweimal signiert, auf dem Bild und rechts unten auf dem Passepartout mit seinem Signum: „Paul Wilhelm Dahms“ und links unten beschrieben mit: „Brachvögel“ Ähnliche Bilder und Jagderlebnisse finden sich auch in dem wunderschönen Buch über den Künstler: „Schwingenschlag“ vom Hrsg.
