| Dieses Katana mit Orikaeshi Sanmai Klingenaufbau wird z.B. von Schwertshop Silvio Overlach für 599 Euro angeboten und soll zu 100% Tameshigiri tauglich sein. Die Maße: Klinge mit Habaki 73 cm, Griff 29 cm, Saya 76 cm. Die scharfe Klinge besteht aus 6 Schichten. Der Rücken aus zwei feuerverschweißtem Schichten weicherem 1045er Stahl (Shigane), die Schneide aus zwei feuerverschweißtem hartem 1095er Stahl (Hagane), die zwei seitlichen Schichten aus mittlerem 1060er Stahl (Kawagane), der 10 x gefaltet wurde und somit 1024 Lagen hat. Meistens sind es diese drei Stahlsorten, aber nicht immer. Nach dem Härten hat der Rücken ca. 45 HRC und die Schneide ca. 60 HRC. Der reelle Hamon ist sehr gut zu sehen. Kashirae und Fuji sind schlicht und passen sehr gut zum Handschutz (Tsuba). Auch diese original antike Tsuba (mittlere bis späte Edo-Zeit) habe ich von einem in Kyoto lebenden deutschen Antiquitätenhändler gekauft. Habaki und Seppa passen sehr schön zu der Messing-Einlegearbeit der Tsuba (siehe Bild). Die Schwertscheide (Saya) ist aus Rosenholz, Sageo und Ito aus schwarzer Baumwolle. Der Griff (Tsuka) ist durch zwei Bambusstifte (Meguki) fest mit der Angel verbunden.
