DescriptionAutomatically translated. Show original You are auctioning here one of the rarest German collector's weapons from the Second World War, the Granatbüchse 39 (Gr.B.39).
In worldofguns.de are listed only 7 results.
Source Wikipedia: "The Panzerbüchse 39 was used in this version until the year 1942; some Pz. B. 39 were converted into Granatbüchsen 39. However, the performance advantage over the Karabiner with shooting cup was low, so the Granatbüchse disappeared from the stocks of the rifle companies from 1944 onwards."
The Granatbüchse 39 is a single-shot rifle with a falling block action. It was fired with the "Große Gewehrpanzergranate mit verbessertem Drallschaft". The cartridge used was the Treibpatrone 318 (7.92x94).
The offered weapon has a special feature, it still has the designation of the Panzerbüchse 39 (Pz.B.39)! Probably the metal plate with the designation Gr.B.39 was not well riveted on.
The lattice sight cannot be pushed into the designated slot without applying significant force. To avoid causing any damage, I did not attempt to widen the gap.
Like all Granatbüchsen 39, this one is also not number-matched.
It has no new proof!
Condition: Siehe Bilder.
