RH0064 For sale on behalf of the heirs of a deceased collector is a very nice Czechoslovakian combat knife from the period after 1918 to approximately 1924. The originally Austrian combat knife was taken over by the newly formed Czechoslovakian army after World War I and the dissolution of the Austrian KuK Monarchy. Overall nice. The blade is still over 90% in factory-new condition. The edge is slightly worn but not blunt, with a few small dark spots. No notches, no deep rust stains. The grip shells are nice, without wear or other defects. The sheath has signs of use, but still about 80 to 90% of the old, presumably Czechoslovakian pine green lacquer. The leather belt loop is intact, not brittle and has no other defects. The blade is stamped on the false edge with a stamp "R" and on the other side the Czechoslovakian stamps 6, the upright lion and the entangled, no longer clearly definable stamp "S" ???, on the crossguard is still the Austrian inspection stamp, the crowned double eagle.
