| Aus meiner Sammlung verkaufe ich diesen sehr schönen brünierten Colt Python mit 4"-Lauf. Nach glaubhaften Angaben des Vorbesitzers wurden aus der Waffe lediglich 20 Schuss .38 Special abgegeben. Das Paket mit den verbliebenen 30 Schuss wurde mir beim Erwerb der Waffe ausgehändigt. Eine Recherche in der Colt Datenbank für Seriennnummern ergibt 1979 als Fertigungsjahr. Beschossen wurde die durch die Fa. Kettner importierte Waffe im Jahr 1980 durch das Beschussamt Mellrichstadt. Da der Revolver beinahe sein gesamtes Leben im Waffenschrank des Vorbesitzers verbrachte, hatte sich an der Sideplate unbemerkt Kontaktrost gebildet. Aus diesem Grunde wurde die Sideplate durch den Büchsenmacher Jan Lambrecht in Köln neu brüniert (Beleg vorhanden). Der Verkauf erfolgt von privat unter Ausschluss der Gewährleistung.
