Landschafts-, Tier- und Portraitmaler, Buchillustrator und Radierer. Kunststudium in München, Schüler von Wolfgang Zeller. 1931 Mitbegründer der Gelsenkirchener Künstlersiedlung 'Halfmannshof'. Studienreisen nach Frankreich, Holland, Italien, Griechenland, Vorderasien, Nordafrika und Nordamerika. Bekannter und geschätzter Künstler, der durch zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen in fast allen namhaften Auktionsverhäusern bzw. Künstlerlexika`s z.B. Vollmer, Dreßler, usw.… verzeichnet ist. Originale signierte jagdliche Radierung des bekannten Maler und Grafiker.
