| Original issued large-type Swiss Military backpack. These large-type backpacks were typically issued to either medics or radio operators. Backpack has one large main compartment only. The main compartment has a large outer flap that is secured with two adjustable leather straps on the left and right corners. One adjustable leather strap runs vertically over the main flap. There is a pocket on the backside of the main flap. Inside, two adjustable leather straps secure two flaps over the main compartment. The right side leather shoulder strap has torn off and is missing. The back side of the pack on the bottom has a large area where the fur has worn away. Heavy corrosion on the buckle for the left side shoulder strap on the underside. On the front flap, a patch of hair is worn away at the top, underneath the outer leather strap. One of the two leather tie-down straps for the front flap is short due to part of the leather breaking off. The inside canvas is soiled and discolored. There is a name hand written on a leather tab at the top of the backpack on the backside. KMV Privat stamp on the inside of the outer flap. Photos depict actual item for sale. |
