| Original WWII-era Swiss Military backpack (tornister) dated from 1943. High-quality cowhide rucksack in excellent condition. Brown-colored fur. The cow hair has worn off in the corners of the front pocket. Features canvas inside, front pocket, quick detach top system, adjustable leather straps and inner compartments. Belt pads have wear from rubbing. Belt pad is stamped with leather marker's mark, "J. JACOBER" in Glarus, Switzerland, as well as the manufacturing year of 1943. There is also a Swiss inspector stamp "Sch". Photos are of the actual backpack for sale. |
