| Swiss model 1918/40 helmet, outside shell is painted white, inner surface is dark. There is some edge wear around the helmet where some paint has been chipped or scratched. There is some scuffing on the upper right side of the helmet. There is light scuffing on the upper left side of the helmet and two small paint chips. Helmet has three pad liner with lace for adjustment and chin strap. The backside of the helmet features the logo of Swiss Army Gebirgsdivision 12 (12th Mountain Division) within a diamond. Geb Div 12 began in 1962 as a new Swiss Army division under the 3rd Alpine Army Corps and tasked with defense in mountainous regions and Southeastern Switzerland. GEB DIV 12 was dissolved in 2003 and folded into 12th Mountain Infantry Brigade (Geb Inf Br 12). Photos depict actual helmet for sale. |
