Die 9,3 x 62 ist um das Jahr 1905 entwickelt worden und sollte speziell in den damaligen deutschen Kolonien Afrikas zur Anwendung kommen. Jedoch wurde die Patrone schnell auf mitteleuropäisches Hochwild, vor allem Elch-, Rot- und Schwarzwild mit besten Erfolgen eingesetzt, so dass sie keine reine "Afrika-Patrone" blieb. |
